Gentlemen:

We have seen your advertisement in the Singapore Times stating your interest in appointing a sole agent for your United TV set in the City. We wish to apply for the Sole Agency as well as the Del Credere Agency.

For over a decade, we have been the leading dealers in various electronic goods, with a centrally located show-room at (place). Our experience extends to TV sets, transistors and tape recorders. We have our own sub-agents who are located at (Places); and do a fairly good business in their areas.

We would be prepared to take up the agency at the regular commission of 2 percent fora period of 2 years to begin with. The payment shall be made every quarter. Besides, we are also keen on taking up the del-credere agency at an extra commission of one percent.
